Daughter Anna has been declared the top candidate for two (2) jobs at Boston University! This means she will be gainfully employed in the very near future and will have all the privileges and obligations that derive from that exalted state.
In recognition of her extraordinary efforts and accomplishments in the field of job hunting during the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, and using the power vested in me as the writer of this blog entry, I hereby declare Anna Elizabeth Jensen-Clem as
Daughter of the Week
with all of the honors and obligations implied by said title.
As the winner of this prestigious award, Anna Elizabeth Jensen-Clem is entitled to an all-expenses-paid trip to bucolic Kirkland, Washington, including access to the most beautiful region in the United States, the Pacific Northwest. In addition, she is granted full use of the recently renovated stereo system in her childhood home with its full range of volume including the setting 11.
