Before dinner today, we took a stroll to the cathedral and castle here in Uppsala. It had been raining earlier in the day but, as the afternoon went on, the sun came out making for some good photography weather.

Earlier in the day, Charlotte and I went on a shopping expedition while our hardworking spouses gave their all for the NEH grant that brought us here. I picked up a couple of bottles of wine, some crackers and hummus, along with some fresh strawberries from Spain. We also went to the public library where, at Charlotte's suggestion, I signed up for a library card. This is living!
