Do Republicans know who they are voting for?

According to CNN exit polls (look at the part labeled "Highest Priority for Next Congress"), 30% of people who voted Republican think the highest priority for Congress should be "Spending to Create Jobs". This tells me that 30% of people voting Republican have no idea what the party stands for, i.e. passing laws to benefit the richest and to hell with everyone else. Spending to create jobs is something pretty much every Republican in Congress voted AGAINST at every opportunity over the last several years.

Just think, if only these people had had a clue, last Tuesday's election would have gone in a totally different direction. It boggles the mind.

On a very much related note, take a look at this editorial.
